Roadmap
No dates, and nothing here is a promise. A one-person product that publishes a delivery date is publishing a guess, and a roadmap you can hold us to is worth less than one you can trust. This is the order things are being worked on, and it changes when what you ask for changes it.
Next
- Import from Google Analytics and Plausible. The single most common reason not to switch is that the history does not come with you. This is the one being designed now.
- Alerts somewhere other than email — a webhook you can point at Slack, Discord or anything else.
- A monthly summary for people who find a weekly digest too often.
Being considered
- A read-only API key that is separate from the public tracking key, so you can pull your own numbers without making the site public.
- Per-post images and richer previews when a dashboard link is shared.
Deliberately not planned
Saying no is more useful than an empty maybe:
- Cookies, cross-site identity, or anything that follows a person between websites. Not a priority question — the product does not work that way and will not.
- Ad-network integrations, remarketing audiences, or conversion export to an ad platform. If you need those, Google Analytics does them and does them better; the comparison says so.
- Session recording and heatmap replay of individual visitors. Watching one person use a site is exactly the thing this tool exists not to do.
Asking for something
Email nikhil@simplytics.dev. Requests from people paying for the product move things up this list faster than anything else does, and a fair amount of what is already in it arrived that way.
